Govt wants 30 seconds mandatory anti-tobacco Ad as soon as you open an OTT app, and you can't skip it

The Union health ministry has proposed mandatory non-skippable anti-tobacco health spots and audio-visual disclaimers on OTT platforms. These rules, effective from September 1, 2023, require a 30-second spot at the beginning and middle of films and a 20-second disclaimer upon opening the platform.
