Japan's Daikin Industries has invested ₹1,400 crore in its Indian subsidiary to enhance local manufacturing. The funds will support the expansion of the Sri City plant in Andhra Pradesh, aiming to increase localisation of AC components. This move positions Daikin as a major player in India's AC market.
