Box-office collections in India for the first eight months of 2024 have dropped by 7.5% compared to last year, due to underperforming films and fewer big releases amid elections and cricket events. However, the second half of the year is expected to see strong performances with anticipated releases like Pushpa 2 and Singham 3.
