The government aims to reduce the subsidy disbursement time under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana to seven days from a month. The scheme has seen 1.8 million applications and 13 million registrations since February. Back-end integration and NPCI involvement are expected to expedite payments further.
