Passenger vehicle sales in India fell for the second consecutive month in August, with 352,921 units dispatched to dealers, a 1.8% decline from last year. However, two-wheeler and three-wheeler segments saw growth. Carmakers are optimistic about a demand revival during the upcoming festive season.
