Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India plans to launch its first electric scooter this fiscal year, aiming for one-third of its sales from electric vehicles by 2030. The company expects two-wheeler sales to reach peak levels in 3-4 years despite upcoming OBD Stage-II B norms. HMSI is enhancing production capacity but has no immediate plans for a new unit.
