The government plans to expand the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) to support semiconductor chip fabrication, packaging, and other ecosystem companies. ISM CEO Akash Tripathi mentioned that 20 more proposals are under consideration. The initiative aims to attract investments and ensure a comprehensive ecosystem for semiconductor manufacturing in India.
