India currently has 63 operational scrapping centres, with more under construction and in the pipeline. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari highlighted the potential of the scrapping industry to boost sales and create jobs. He also emphasized the importance of alternative fuels like CNG, LNG, and hydrogen for economic and environmental benefits. Gadkari urged manufacturers to focus on quality and safety in vehicle production.
