Indian skies are safer than before: DGCA

Indian skies are becoming safer, with a 25% reduction in Risk Bearing Airprox incidents and a 23% decrease in unstabilised approaches over the past two years. India's aviation safety readiness has improved, achieving zero accidents per million departures in 2023. The ICAO upgraded India's safety score to 85.49% after a 2022 audit.
