Singapore Airlines has secured approval from the Indian government for its foreign direct investment as part of the merger between Vistara and Air India. The merger, announced in November 2022, aims to create a dominant full-service airline. SIA will hold a 25.1% stake in the combined entity, expecting completion by the end of 2024.
