US-based proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis has recommended that shareholders of Godfrey Phillips India vote "against" the special resolution to reappoint Bina Modi as Managing Director, citing concerns about her remuneration and lack of performance conditions. Glass Lewis supports Samir Modi's continued board presence despite ongoing family and boardroom conflicts.
