By Economic Times - 4 weeks ago
The Supreme Court has approved the auction of Samrudhhi Realty's assets to recover around Rs 5000 crore in debt. However, any auction involving assets from Essel Finance Advisors and Managers LLP will be subject to the outcome of an ongoing appeal. Essel Finance had challenged a National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) decision that upheld the National Company Law Tribunal's (NCLT) order for Essel to cover part of the liquidation costs.
