Kempegowda International Airport, run by Bangalore International Airport Limited, became the first airport in Asia to receive Airports Council International's highest Level five accreditation. The airport has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 95.6% ahead of its 2030 goal. The recognition, effective from May 2024, highlights the airport's dedication to sustainable practices.
