Warburg Pincus has taken a majority stake in Ebco Private Limited, valuing the company at Rs3000-3200 crore. Ebco's promoters will keep a minority stake and stay involved in the business. Founded in 1963, Ebco is a Mumbai-based leader in furniture fittings and architectural hardware. The partnership seeks to leverage growth opportunities in the industry.
