IndiGo plans to increase its number of women pilots to over 1,000 within the next year as part of its broader diversity and inclusivity efforts. Currently, the airline has over 800 women pilots, making up about 14% of its pilot workforce compared to the global average of 7-9%. IndiGo's Group Chief HR Officer, Sukhjit S Pasricha, emphasized the airline's comprehensive approach to inclusivity, including significant growth in female representation in engineering roles.
