Bajaj Finance has been served with a show cause notice for a GST demand of Rs 342 crore. Authorities claim the fixed upfront interest collected from B2B customers should be taxed. The demand spans from July 2017 to March 2024. Bajaj Finance intends to contest the notice with a formal reply.
