Godrej Agrovet Limited is setting up an Oil Palm Processing Milling unit in Dhalai, Tripura. They will also open a research and development center and a Samadhan center to assist farmers. This initiative is part of the National Mission on Edible Oil - Oil Palm and will bring 7,000 hectares under palm cultivation in the state.
