India's GeM portal for government procurement surpassed Rs 9.82 lakh crore in transactions by July 30, 2024. The platform, launched in 2016, serves over 63,000 government buyer organizations and 62 lakh sellers. It offers various products and services, aiding women-led MSEs and startups.
