China has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organisation over the EU's provisional tariffs of up to 37.6% on Chinese-made electric vehicles. The EU claims these tariffs counteract unfair subsidies, while China insists its practices adhere to WTO guidelines. The two parties are expected to resolve the issue by early November to avoid further economic tensions.
