The Banking Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2024, introduced in the Lok Sabha by Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, proposes increasing the number of nominees per bank account to four and raising the 'substantial interest' limit for directorships to Rs 2 crore.
