Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL) CMD B Sairam announced on Saturday that the company dispatched 94 percent of its total coal to the power sector and contributed Rs 15,000 crore to the central and state exchequer in FY24 through royalty and GST. The announcement was made at the Singrauli Industrial Summit 2024, where Sairam also affirmed NCL's commitment to ensuring the nation's energy security.
