India Budget 2024: Civil aviation ministry gets Rs 2,357 crore

The civil aviation ministry's budget has been reduced to Rs 2,357.14 crore for the current fiscal, with Rs 502 crore allocated to the regional air connectivity scheme, down from Rs 850 crore in the previous year. The budget also includes funds for the revival of 22 airports, 124 RCS routes, and Viability Gap Funding for North East Connectivity. Additionally, the PLI scheme for drones will receive a higher allocation of Rs 57 crore.
