Air India has promised full fare refunds and future travel vouchers to passengers after a 30-hour delay on a flight to San Francisco. The airline apologised for the inconvenience and cited safety concerns that led to a precautionary landing in Russia. The flight, originally AI-183, eventually arrived in San Francisco as AI 1179 after being diverted. Passengers were provided with assistance at Krasnoyarsk International Airport.
