The Railway Ministry refuted Congress leader Jairam Ramesh's claim that the Delhi Police filed the first FIR under Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita 2023 against a street vendor for obstruction at New Delhi Railway Station. Indian Railways provided evidence from the Station House Officer stating no such FIR was registered, prompting the Ministry to respond, "Sir, pls don't mis-inform!"
