SpiceJet and Ajay Singh refuted Kalanithi Maran and KAL Airways' Rs 1,323 crore damages claim as legally untenable. Maran plans to challenge a Delhi High Court order favoring SpiceJet. This ownership dispute dates to 2015. Following the claim, SpiceJet's shares dropped 1.24%. The court had overturned an earlier ruling favoring Maran.
