Six flights diverted after Goa airport runway affected by lightning strike

Six flights were redirected due to lightning striking the Manohar International Airport (MIA) in Goa. The lightning caused damage to the runway edge lights, as confirmed by an official. The airport, situated in Mopa in North Goa, was struck by lightning at approximately 5.15 pm on Wednesday, according to a statement from the MIA spokesperson.
