Rahul Varshney has left Europe's largest renewable power generator Statkraft after 15 years of leadership in India. Statkraft, owned by Norway's government, has been operating in India for over two decades, primarily in the hydro power generation sector. Varshney led the development of multiple hydro power projects in Himachal Pradesh, providing "living wages" to construction workers, including better healthcare, food, and social security.
