PepsiCo India has planned to invest Rs 1,266 crore in setting up a flavour manufacturing facility in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, to expand its beverage production. The plant, scheduled to be operational by early 2026, aims to boost employment and benefit the local economy. The facility will operate on renewable energy, reducing carbon footprint significantly, and prioritize water efficiency with zero liquid discharge technology.
