At Kolkata airport, an IndiGo aircraft grazed an Air India Express plane's wings, causing damage to both. The incident occurred on the taxiway during taxiing, with passengers on board both planes. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has de-rostered the IndiGo pilots and launched an investigation. The Airports Authority of India reported the wingtip vortices of both planes were badly damaged. The incident has led to both flights being grounded for inspection, with no harm to passengers or crew reported.
