Gensol Engineering has commissioned a 10.6 megawatt rooftop solar project in Madhya Pradesh, located at the Budhni textile unit of Trident Ltd. The project, equipped with nearly 20,000 solar panels, is expected to offset around 11,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually. This bi-facial solar project captures sunlight from both surfaces of the solar panels, producing power from two sides. Ali Imran Naqvi, CEO (EPC Business) at Gensol, stated that this project is among the top five biggest rooftop solar ventures globally, utilizing a rooftop area exceeding 70,000 square meters.
