Plaintiffs' lawyers in a California wrongful-death lawsuit against Tesla have cited an email from the automaker's president, Jon McNeill, as evidence that the company knew drivers would not watch the road while using Autopilot. The email, written six weeks before the first fatal accident involving Autopilot, described McNeill's positive experience with the system.
