The 630 MW solar power project in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district was laid by Union Ministers RK Singh and Virendra Kumar. The project, which will cost Rs 3,200 crore, will light over 3 lakh households upon completion. The government's work in the power sector under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has seen capacity almost double in the last decade.
