Mining giant Vedanta Ltd is considering legal options, including a review petition, following a Supreme Court ruling dismissing its special leave petition against the closure of its Thoothukudi copper smelter plant. The company, which has been closed since May 2018 due to pollution concerns, is focusing on the health and welfare of local residents.
