FMCG sheds Covid hangover with Q3 ad binge

Leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies have ramped up advertising expenses, surpassing pre-Covid levels for the first time in the December quarter, as they aim to stimulate demand amid a robust economy. According to a study by ET, companies like Dabur, Colgate-Palmolive, Emami, Godrej Consumer Products, United Spirits, and Jyothy Labs have exceeded FY19 levels in advertising and promotion (A&P) spending.
