On Friday, the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) paid a dividend of Rs 2,441 crore to the government. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman received the dividend cheque from LIC Chairman Siddhartha Mohanty in the presence of Financial Services Secretary Vivek Joshi.
