Railway unions, under the Joint Forum For Restoration of Old Pension Scheme (JFROPS), have threatened to disrupt train services across India if their demand for the Old Pension Scheme is not met. They have agreed to serve a notice to the Railway Ministry on March 19, stating that they will strike and disrupt all train services from May 1, 2024, on International Labour Day.
