Chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved six projects of the Ministry of Railways on Thursday, totaling Rs. 12,343 crore. These projects aim to streamline operations and alleviate congestion on the busiest sections of the Indian Railways network. The Cabinet-approved projects will extend across 18 districts in six states: Rajasthan, Assam, Telangana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Nagaland.
