Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal purchased 5-acre land in Delhi's Dera Mandi village for Rs 79 crore. The land was bought in two transactions: 2.5 acres for Rs 29 crore in March 2023 and another 2.5 acres for Rs 50 crore in September 2023. The demand for farmhouses has increased post-Covid, with affluent Indians investing in this asset class.
