North East LPG cylinder carriers of IOC go on indefinite strike

By Economic Times - 10 months ago
LPG cylinder transporters of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) in Assam went on an indefinite strike alleging pending dues and low rates in recently floated tenders. The strike is likely to impact supplies to Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya. IndianOil-AOD, IOC's Northeast division, produces 1.4 lakh LPG cylinders every day from its nine operational bottling plants.
