The integrated pulp and paper company, Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Paper Limited (TNPL), is on a mission to produce one million tonnes of paper by 2030. TNPL, India's first bagasse-based paper mill, produces 400,000 metric tonnes of paper annually. TNPL comprises Unit I and Unit II, which together produce over 600,000 tonnes of paper and paperboard.
