SC junks arbitral panel award ordering SER to pay Rashmi Metaliks Rs 1,300 cr

The Indian Supreme Court has appointed former Supreme Court judge V. Ramasubramanian as the sole arbitrator in a dispute between South Eastern Railways (SER) and Rashmi Metaliks. The court has set aside an arbitral tribunal's award that directed SER to pay Rs 1300 crore to the private firm. The court has also ordered both parties to seek a recall of any witness and appear before the arbitrator on February 15.
