Taiwanese firm Asus plans to launch an AI-powered consumer notebook in India. India is the third-largest PC market globally, but there is a significant gap between India and China. Following the government's implementation of the revised production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for IT hardware in 2023, Asus is increasing its local production in India.
