Airbus, Tata Group-owned Air India form JV to launch pilot training centre in Gurugram

Airbus has partnered with Air India, owned by Tata Group, to establish a pilot training facility in Gurugram, Haryana. Additionally, Airbus will collaborate with GMR Aero Technic to offer aircraft maintenance engineering training courses in Hyderabad. The Tata Airbus training centre will have 10 full flight simulators and will offer A320 and A350 flight training to 5,000 new pilots over 10 years. The facility is expected to be operational from early 2025.
