In its wishlist for Union Budget 2024, Industry body Indian Biogas Association (IBA) has demanded incentives, including a dedicated Rs 1.4 lakh crore 'Biogas-Fertilizer Fund', to promote organic fertilizers and accelerate the Bio-CNG/CBG industry's growth. It suggested favorable regulations, tax exemptions, financing incentives, and accessible credit options, focusing on fermented organic manure.
