Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced plans to restructure the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and increase its workforce by 400-450 individuals. The move aims to enhance the back-end infrastructure in response to the growing passenger traffic, fleet size, and number of airports in India's civil aviation sector.
