Amid ongoing suspense over the Maharashtra Chief Minister's post, a key meeting of the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance to finalize a power-sharing pact was cancelled on Friday. This meeting was initially planned in Mumbai after a discussion in Delhi on Thursday night between Maharashtra's outgoing Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, his deputies Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
