(UPDATE) FILIPINO boxing legend Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao is one of the options for an exhibition match for British boxer Kell Brook.
In an interview with Lucky Block Sports, Brook, who is officially retired, also has Amir Khan on his sights.
"I wouldn't shy away from it if it made sense for me, and boxing fans wanted to see it happen. Maybe we could get Amir Khan or Manny Pacquiao back in the ring," he said. "Manny Pacquiao is a legend, of course, I'd love to share the ring with him. It would be an honor."
The 37-year-old professional boxer has 40 wins (28 by knockout) and three losses, with his last match being in 2022 against Khan. He also had a welterweight title by the International Boxing Federation and was the world's best active welterweight by The Ring magazine.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao began training for his upcoming exhibition match against Thailand's Buakaw Banchamek.
On Thursday, Pacquiao posted his preparations in General Santos City, one of which included a morning run and the other at a gym practicing with a punching bag.
Last December, it was announced that the former senator is set to face Buakaw at the Impact Arena in Thailand on April 20.
Six three-minute rounds with two-minute breaks will be the format of the upcoming match.
Pacquiao first defeated DK Yoo of South Korea in his first exhibition match since retiring from professional boxing.
