Venezuela orders UN office on human rights to close and its staff to leave in 3 days

Venezuela's government has ordered the local U.N. office on human rights to halt operations and expelled its staff within 72 hours, alleging that the office promoted opposition to the country. Foreign Affairs Minister Yvan Gil made the announcement in Caracas, following the recent detention of human rights attorney Rocio San Miguel, sparking widespread criticism.
