In a statement issued on Friday, the National Highways Authority of India said it has introduced new Route Patrolling Vehicles (RPVs) named ‘Rajmarg Saathi’ as part of its incident management services. The RPVs conduct inspection of National Highway stretches to monitor and respond to emergency situations as part of the government initiative to enhance road safety and strengthen highway patrolling.
