Real estate firm PH1 World Developers, a unit of Megawide Construction Corp., over the weekend launched the development of a five-hectare sustainable horizontal project in Trece Martires City, Cavite.
PH1WD President Gigi Alcantara said the expansion in the Greater Manila Area, which comprises Metro Manila and the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Batangas, Bulacan, and Pampanga, would "positively" disrupt the country's real estate sector.
"On top of the energy efficiency features, unit owners can expect higher quality, consistency, and durability since Megawide will be undertaking design and build for the project," Alcantara said in a statement.
"Through our parent company's innovative technologies, we herald developments that provide a wide range of extras: extra space, extra convenience, and extra value."
PH1WD Landscapes general manager Eric Gregor Tan said the Cavite project, which could expand to 30 hectares, would comprise some 330 units worth P1.8 billion in total.
"[O]ur latest offering in Trece Martires is envisioned to offer an extraordinary kind of living. We aim to set the bar high in terms of innovation in horizontal developments," he continued.
Solar panels, the official added, will ensure that each unit can reduce electricity consumption and lower carbon footprints.
Tan said the new development would incorporate the same sustainability features as Northscapes San Jose del Monte, the project launched by the real estate firm in September.
"These are just some of the main differentiators of our Trece Martires project. It's a testament to our commitment to [providing] great living experiences."
PH1WD parent Megawide's share price dropped by 2 centavos to P3.28 last Friday.
